Flotation Washer

The universal foodlife Flotation Washer is the perfect solution to wash a high capacity of delicate leafy products.

Waterjet pipes are installed at the bottom of the tank, which ensure a whirlpool effect. Because of this effect, delicate leafy vegetables can be perfectly washed, without damaging the product. The product is transported through the tank thanks to a nozzle on the infeed side.

The washer contains three drum seperators to filter out flies and small parts. The flies and small parts (sand) are discharged via the sides (via a gutter) by a dynamic drum seperator. The washer is equipped with removable perforation parts. These serve to allow the small parts (sand) to pass to the drainage space below the perforation parts. The drum seperators are made from stainless steel. The drums are interchangeble.
