With over 100 years of experience with Jansen Vegetables & Fruits, a company in trading and processing fruits and vegetables, in 1997 family business JFPT B.V. established. In 2011, this company was taken over by son Patrick Jansen. Due to its own history in the fruit and vegetable sector, JFPT B.V. is a specialist in the food processing industry. With its know-how, engineering and years of experience, JFPT B.V. sees themselves as the perfect sparring partner for its customers.
This has led to private label foodlife. The desire was to be able to innovate quickly in the market, combined with the specific customer demand. Foodlife develops innovative machines and processing solutions with their own design and manufacturing philosophy: cost reduction, quality improvement, efficiency and sustainability. Foodlife works together with the customer and is guided by objectivity, creativity and ambition. In total, foodlife now has 20 employees with to locations in Zwolle and Amsterdam.
As of from the 1st of January 2018, foodlife will merge with FMI Foodhandling from Uden. The FMI Holding was founded in 1962 and currently consists of 7 production sites and an engineering office in The Netherlands. The group designs, manufactures and assembles high-quality mechanical components modules and systems for the high-tech, medical and industrial sectors and the food processing industry. The technology, knowledge and machines of foodlife and FMI Foodhandling seamlessly match with eachother. By joining forces, we can serve the global market much better and jointly develop new machines and production lines.
